Vivian Birdsall is an author, educator, and publisher whose work explores the extraordinary beauty found in ordinary lives. After more than thirty years in education, inspiring students through mathematics, science, and STEM education, she turned her lifelong passion for storytelling into a full-time writing career. She is the founder of Inevitable Publishing and writes across a wide range of genres, including literary fiction, history, memoir, self-help, children's books, and educational nonfiction. A common thread runs through all of her work: compassion, resilience, curiosity, and the belief that quiet acts of kindness have the power to change lives. Her debut literary novel, Nora, reflects these themes through an intimate story of love, healing, loss, and hope set against the rugged beauty of rural Maine. Whether writing fiction or nonfiction, Vivian seeks to create books that invite readers to look more closely at the world around them and at the people who quietly shape our lives. She lives in Connecticut and spends part of each year on her property in Maine, where the forests, mountains, changing seasons, and enduring craftsmanship that inspire her stories are never far away. Vivian also serves as Vice President of the Cornerstone Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the remarkable Nambale Magnet School in Nambale, Kenya, helping provide educational opportunities that transform children's lives.
